Pick S238, MPM 276s, Series G, 19xx, PCGS “Color Trial” 64 Very Choice New. PCGS notes: Pinholes. We see 6 tiny ones in the design area (2 by "Quinientos" at the lower left and 4 around the cactus at the upper left). We believe this to be the standard Specimen, and not a “Color Trial” as indicated by PCGS. ABNCO Red Order Number “F2876” stamped in obverse top margin, along with Archival Printer’s Violet Date Stamp “APR 5 1911” on the reverse. Very well centered antique banknote that we would have graded a 61. Pick (12th) lists only a Series A Specimen at $1,000. MPM (2010) Specimen price $800. (PMG population report shows that only 5 of this note have been graded.) Only 5,000 issued notes were printed for this type with 19xx in plate and these signature titles.
